IYK CARD

If you landed here, you probably have an IYK card, our favorite way to redeem digital assets. Keep reading for instructions on usage and information on the product. 

usage

There are a few steps to activate your card and redeem your NFT 

activation
iPhone 11 and newer
  1. Wake your phone up. Place the top edge of your iPhone onto the IYK* on your Generative Goods card and hold it there.
  2. Open the notification and follow the instructions.
For iPhone 7, 8, and X
  1. Wake and unlock your iPhone.
  2. Swipe up to open the Control Center and click on the NFC icon to enable NFC scan mode.
  3. Place the top edge of your phone onto the IYK* icon (asterisk) on your product and hold it there.
  4. Open the notification and follow the instructions
Android
  1. Make sure NFC is enabled in settings.
  2. Wake and unlock your Android phone.
  3. Place the center of your Android onto the IYK* icon (asterisk) on your product and hold it there.
  4. Open the notification and follow the instructions
A few things that might interfere with activation
  • If you have your camera app open, close it and try again. The camera app interferes with NFC reading on both iOS and Android.
  • If your phone battery is low, charge it and try again. The NFC tag relies on power from your phone to establish a connection.
  • If power saver mode is on, disable it and try again.
wallets

A crypto wallet is an account on the blockchain that stores digital assets such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). When you are ready to set up your wallet, there are many options out there. Our preferred wallets are Metamask and Rainbow.

Please do not use a wallet created by a cryptocurrency exchange like Coinbase as the NFT may not be recoverable. 

If you don’t have a digital wallet, it’s okay! Take your time. The NFT will be safely held for you for up to a year from the date of your order.

  1. Choose the type of wallet that you’d like to use. We recommend Metamask or Rainbow, which are available on both desktop and mobile. 
  2. Download the wallet app to your desktop or mobile device.
  3. Follow the instructions to create an account.

If creating a new wallet, please remember to write down the words in your seed phrase and keep this information in a safe place.

Once you have activated your phone, you should be prompted to do the following: 
  • Enter your email and click Continue
  • Go to your inbox and open the link. It will then direct you to the Login Page.
  • Once you login, your digital asset should appear.
